M1 by Brilliance!

Introducing M1 by Brilliance!
Boasting an innovative fusion of design and engineering from three continents, M1 brings you first-class styling, state-of-the art technological features and superior performance – at a lower price than comparable sedans. POWER: M1 is equipped with the first engine independently developed by Brilliance – a 1.8-liter 170 horsepower turbo with an automatic transmission. DRIVE: The front-wheel drive M1 rides on a chassis optimized by Porsche. A multi-link front and rear axle suspension absorbs impact, while the special wheel suspension on the rear axle helps the driver maintain control of the vehicle. A responsive power steering system adds to M1's graceful moves. SAFETY: An anti-lock braking system, electronic brake boosters, an electronic differential lock, and four-wheel disc brakes support assist the driver, even in quick-response situations. In the event of a collision, driver and passenger airbags and side impact protection spring into action. In addition, fuel supply is automatically cut off, interior and exterior lighting activates and all doors unlock. STYLE: M1 exhibits prestigious styling, courtesy of Giugiaro, Italy’s famed design master. Flowing lines and a confident stance are complemented by its sporty grill and multi-curved gem-shaped integrated headlights. Combining form and function, M1’s body shape reduces wind resistance and therefore interior noise. TOYOTA PRADO 2010

2010 Toyota Prius

Vehicle Highlights
The 2010 Toyota Prius is redesigned with freshened styling, more power, higher EPA fuel-economy figures, and a host of newly standard and optional features. This gas/electric hybrid is a five-passenger, 4-door hatchback that teams a 4-cylinder engine with a battery-powered electric motor and a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). Toyota's hybrid system allows Prius to run on one or both of its power sources to balance acceleration and fuel economy. No plug-in charging is required. Four models are available at launch, called II, III, IV, and V; an entry-level I is due to be added later. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, curtain side airbags, and front side airbags. The V model has LED headlights, fog lights, and 17-inch alloy wheels vs the 15s on other models. Newly available features include an adjustable-height driver seat, heated front seats, telescopic steering column, and, later in the year, Toyota's Safety Connect assistance system. Also newly offered are some high-end features usually found only on vehicles sold by Toyota's Lexus division, including adaptive cruise control, Lane Keep Assist with lane-departure warning, and Intelligent Parking Assist that provides hands-free parallel parking. Other new options include a solar roof panel that can power a ventilating fan when the car is parked, and electric air conditioning that can be turned on for up to three minutes to cool down the interior before getting in. This evaluation is based on preview test drives.

MAZA 6 (2009)

The 2009 Mazda 6 is redesigned, gaining size, freshened styling, and more power. This midsize car now comes exclusively as a 4-door sedan; the previous hatchback and wagon body styles are discontinued. The 2009 6 is about 4 inches longer in wheelbase and 7 inches longer overall than the 2003-2008 generation. Four trim levels are available: SV, Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring. Models with the "i" designation receive a new 170-hp 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine; it replaces a 156-hp 2.3-liter 4-cylinder. Models with the "s" prefix get a 272-hp 3.7-liter V6, which replaces a 212-hp 3.0 V6. A 6-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission is offered with the 4-cylinder, while the V6 pairs with a 6-speed automatic. Both automatics have manual shift capability. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, front side airbags, and curtain side airbags. Optional equipment includes a navigation system, leather upholstery, keyless entry, a sunroof, and a blind-spot monitoring system. This evaluation is based on preview test drives.
