New for 2009 Nissan Maxima
The 2009 Nissan Maxima is completely redesigned with fresh styling, new chassis and upgraded interior features. Bringing back the “4-Door Sports Car” moniker, the new Maxima features a 290-horsepower V6 engine teamed with Nissan’s Xtronic CVT (continuously variable transmission). The Maxima is built on Nissan’s new “D” platform, designed to enhance body rigidity and minimize torque steer. While the wheelbase is shorter than the previous generation, the 2009 Maxima is wider providing a more aggressive stance. The new Maxima is available with such features as a 7.0-inch touch-screen color monitor, RearView Monitor, Nissan Hard Drive Navigation system with XM NavTraffic, Voice Recognition, 9.3GB Music Box Hard Drive, and Bluetooth hands-free phone system.
